Helpdesk Technician (Entry-Level)
We are looking for a candidate with exceptional customer service skills coupled with a passion for IT and networking. This is a position that will challenge and expose you to many different facets of the IT world, and the software and hardware that come with it. If you want a future in IT, this will serve as a great entry into the industry as part of a strong local team of like-minded IT enthusiasts.
Job Responsibilities will primarily include, but are not limited to:
- Provide professional grade remote support the IT environments we managed and support for our client base
- Answers phone calls from our clients requesting IT support
- Be responsive to our service board and push tickets to closure - utilizing our knowledgebase and your teammates to help as needed
- Document your time and work done in a concise and clear format
- Be responsible and careful when connecting to and working with customer owned equipment that we monitor
- Install and support the managed service software we deploy to our customers
- Monitor and triage backup alerts for our client data
- Occasionally go on-site to local client offices to help where remote phone support is not an option
